Crux is an outdoors guide service that is committed to helping others find their identity and purpose in Jesus Christ. Our desire is to challenge others to authenticity and a deeper relationship with Him. We are passionate about creation and have been given a charge to use rock climbing and other outdoor recreational activities as avenues to build, encourage, and strengthen relationships with Christ and others.

The objective of Crux is to work with you to provide your group the opportunity for a unique trip that will have an impact well beyond your expectations. One of the greatest aspects of climbing and adventure recreation is the potential they have to reveal genuine emotions and a person’s true self. Ultimately, the challenge lies not in the ability to overcome an obstacle before you, but whatever is in you that keeps you from being all that God created you to be. Through the rigorous mental and physical challenges of climbing and adventure recreation your group will be confronted with reality. We also reserve plenty of time for briefing, where we bring focus for the day’s activities, and debriefing where participants are engaged in voicing application of their experiences.

Our instructors are well versed in experiential education and use various teaching techniques for both the technical instruction and the application of spiritual truths. Each member of Crux has served as youth minister in local churches and been involved in many various youth, college, recreation, and missions ministries. Revealing the joy of a life committed to following Christ, even in the midst of tough circumstances, is the “crux” of your time spent with us.
